Marianne is passionate about supporting individuals of all ages in their journey towards their full potential. Marianne believes in the innate potential for human growth in every individual. She supports her clients in private practice in Hong Kong as well as through the Jadis Blurton Family Development Center.
Marianne holds a Masters in Art Therapy as well as a Masters in Counselling. She has gained clinical experience working in a non-profit agency supporting those impacted by cancer, a large-scale psychiatric hospital, and a child therapy clinic.
Marianne's expertise with children lies in supporting healthy development, building self-esteem, resilience and promoting emotional regulation. She has experience with a range of concerns such as adjustment disorders, depression, anxiety, selective mutism, trauma, and somatization. In recent years, Marianne has supported families during the process of negotiating co-parenting strategies in cases of separation and divorce.
In her private life, Marianne is married and the mother to three boys and has lived in Frankfurt, London, New York, and Singapore prior to moving to Hong Kong in 2016. Marianne is bilingual in English and German and speaks Italian.
Sessions are can be conducted in either of those languages.
